#5916 new defect

Problem with java environment for Mac Os

Reported by: carlo_euporias Owned by:
Priority: major Milestone:
Component: TracMeteo Keywords: Java Mac

Description

After updating R to version 3.2.1
Updating Java to version 8
Re-installing all ECOMS-related R packages
I still have issues with the the java as the system states:

Error in .jfindClass(as.character(class)) : class not found

It is worth noticing that the installation of the new R version has also broken the fix I found for the usage of Java 8 in Rstudio( I guess I will need to find another fix...).

At the same time the I can reproduce the problem on the console based version of R which uses Java 8.

recompiling rjava from R has solved the issue completely!
