v7 Although the ECOMS-UDG provides a web interface to explore and access the datasets (shown in this section), it is strongly recommented the use of OPeNDAP client libraries to remotely access the data from scientific computing environments (see the [http://meteo.unican.es/trac/wiki/EcomsUdg/RPackage R package] or the [http://meteo.unican.es/trac/wiki/EcomsUdg/Interfaces Python and Matlab functions]). Note that the different datasets are stored in ECOMS-UDG in its original format, with their particular conventions and temporal aggregations for the variables. The above packages allow accessing the different datasets in an homogeneous form, using a single table of variables. Any of the [https://meteo.unican.es/trac/wiki/EcomsUdg/DataServer/Datasets datasets] included in the UDG can be explored via Web by clicking in the corresponding name (e.g. [http://www.meteo.unican.es/tds5/catalogs/system4/System4Datasets.html?dataset=system4/System4_Annual_15Members.ncml System4_annual_15]): Any of the [https://meteo.unican.es/trac/wiki/EcomsUdg/DataServer/catalog datasets] included in the UDG can be explored via Web by clicking in the corresponding name (e.g. [http://www.meteo.unican.es/tds5/catalogs/system4/System4Datasets.html?dataset=system4/System4_Annual_15Members.ncml System4_annual_15]): [[Image(fig02.png,align=center,width=520px,title=Detail of a particular dataset with information on the included variables and geospatial and time coverages. The different options for data access and visualization are also shown.)]]
